Instructional Design and Project Management:​

• Plan, design, and lead on the creation of undergraduate (Pre-Clerkship and Clerkship) medicine courses by working closely with 300+ faculty and collaborating with other stakeholders. 

• Design and develop diverse training solutions using Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies, adaptive and personalized learning design principles. Responsible for analyzing various aspects of learning and development, such as Needs Analysis, Task Analysis, and content analysis.

• Create engaging course content by applying learning theories, utilizing technology, and manage course templates and style guides for ongoing maintenance and updates.

• Apply expertise on the creation of effective learning objectives, effective teaching strategies (large group/small group/online/blended teaching), learning activities and tasks, and assessment (formative and summative) strategies.

Develop and oversee project plans for diverse learning initiatives. Collaborate with course production teams, instructors, curriculum specialists, learner support services and relevant external stakeholders to ensure effective management of project timelines and deliverables.

Learning Technology Consultation and Innovation

• Advise and coach faculty members in incorporating instructional design principle into teaching. Assist faculty in the development of impactful learning outcomes, instructional delivery, active learning activities, and rubric based assessments that align with overall learning objectives. 

• Collaborate with various campus departments, such as the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning, Distance Education Unit, and USASK IT Support Services, to address technology-enhanced learning matters. Engage in consultations to create innovative technology standards and implement new technological advancements.

• Collaborate with medicine faculty and staff to align courses with mastery learning frameworks, creating formative assessments, feedback loops, and differentiated learning pathways that cater to diverse learner needs.

• Investigate and evaluate new/cutting edge educational technologies for use in technology enabled course delivery.

Learning Data Analytics and Program Evaluation:

• Analyze and assess learning data using both qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning projects. Share findings with the Curriculum Delivery Sub-Committee (CDSC), contributing to curriculum mapping, and participating in the development and evaluation of new curriculum. 

• Design and Develop evaluation strategies for new and ongoing courses, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcome measures. Conduct data analysis using statistical software to assess the success of programs and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and visualizations that display key learning metrics, using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Curriculum &Instructional Design:

• Design, develop, and align course contents, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment materials, aligning with mastery learning teaching standards and program objectives.

• Facilitate student-centered learning by encouraging active participation, group works, and hands-on activities. 

• Utilize outcome-based teaching strategies to ensure that course learning outcomes are in harmony with teaching strategies and assessments as part of instructional design responsibilities.

• Design and implement the "First-Year Research Experience (FYRE)" project, focusing on cultivating research skills and fostering a passion for inquiry among first-year students. 

• Individually and collaboratively, collected and presented findings to audiences of varying degrees of research expertise.

• Mentor students in experimental design, data collection, and analysis, fostering hands-on experiential learning.

• Worked with Dr. Tim Molnar as a project team member in planning, designing, and implementing the Canvas Space. Responsibilities included incorporating course contents, assignments, instructions, group discussion forums, rubrics, and releasing regular course materials for the ECUR 164.

• Participated in grading assignments, quizzes, term papers and instruct students with materials such as APA guidelines, visual aids, answer keys, supplementary notes, and supplement websites.

• Consulted, facilitated and supported services for the development, implementation and assessment of learning experiences at the curriculum, program course and class levels.

• Assisted Faculty with instructional design, assessment strategies, instructional delivery, and other curricula projects, utilizing the Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Canvas and Blackboard Learn.

• Supervise undergraduate students working on the research project (maintaining records on assignment completion, acting as liaison/mediator between the undergraduate students and the faculty researcher)

• Marked assignments, term papers and instruct students with materials such as APA guidelines, visual aids, answer keys, supplementary notes, and supplement websites.

• ​Designed, Developed, and planned the school curriculum including Assessment Plan, Professional Development Plan, Equity Plan, Mentoring Plan etc.

• Planned, designed, and conducted the need assessments, and education program evaluations using effective evaluation models, methods, and systems.

• Worked collaboratively with the Program Evaluation Committee (PEC), and school administration to analyze, produce reports, prioritize program evaluation outcomes; and recommend improvements.

• Organized all kinds of in-house and outdoor professional development training, workshops,

• and seminars for educators.

• Developed and implement lower secondary and secondary science curricula plans, policies, and practices within the context of the school’s aims and visons.

• Coordinated the development of science instructional materials, lesson plans, and selection of textbooks to support the implementation of the Cambridge science curriculum.

• Taught Science courses to a diverse group of high school students.

• Designed and developed lesson plans and instructional programs to special individual and group needs.
